Question:

What is Java considered as Platform Independent?

Answer:

Java is considered as a platform independent language as its source code is converted to an intermediate form known as bytecode which can be run on Java virtual Machine which is available for many operating systems and hardware platform combinations. This way the compiled program of java (in form of bytecode) can directly run on other platforms directly.
