What is JVM?

Answer:

JVM is expanded as Java Virtual Machine. It is a software to be installed on every operating system, in order to run programs compiled as java bytecode. It converts any java compiled program into suitable machine code for running on any OS and hardware environment. JVM is responsible for giving Java its platform Independence nature.
